Over a thousand board members, managers, building owners and exhibitors packed the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center on Wednesday, May 18th for The Cooperator Expo-Chicagoland’s Spring Expo in Rosemont. The one-day event which ran from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. is now in its second year.
The Expo—which is fast becoming a fixture on the business calendar of vendors, service providers, board members, building staff and residents throughout Chicagoland—provides networking, information and educational opportunities for the region’s condo, HOA and co-op boards and residents.
Attendees spent the day visiting more than 150 exhibit booths and took in a lineup of informative educational seminars.
“Our Expos are an invaluable resource for board members, managers and building owners in the condo, HOA and co-op community. Not only can our attendees network and meet with experts in building management and administration, they can bring home proven solutions to make their properties run more efficiently,” says Yale Robbins, president of Yale Robbins, Inc., Expo producer and publisher of The Chicagoland Cooperator. By anticipating trends in the condo, HOA and co-op marketplace, we help our attendees stay ahead of the curve and ultimately save money.”

"I like walking the show and meeting vendors face to face that I only email or speak to on the phone."
— Elaine Jenchowski, property transfer coordinator with The Forth Group, a management firm in Chicago.
"The Expo is a good orientation for someone who is new to condo life and condo association governance. Another important aspect: vendors were offering services that I didn't even know existed. It was a genuine learning experience."
— Margaret Jordan, unit owner at Belle Plaine Commons in Chicago.
